OFACScreen screens against 8 sanctions lists: OFAC SDN (Specially Designated Nationals), OFAC Non-SDN (Consolidated Non-SDN), BIS Denied Persons & Entity List, UN Consolidated Sanctions, EU Financial Sanctions, UK OFSI, Canada SEMA, and Swiss SECO. All lists are updated hourly.
All 8 sanctions lists are refreshed every hour. When OFAC or another agency publishes an update, our system automatically downloads, normalizes, and indexes the new data so your searches always reflect the latest information.
Yes. Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with 25 searches. No credit card is required to sign up. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time during or after your trial.
Yes. All plans are month-to-month (or annual with a discount) with no long-term contracts. You can cancel from your billing portal at any time and your access continues through the end of your current billing period.
When you reach your monthly search limit, you can upgrade to a higher plan for immediate additional capacity. Your search counter resets on the first of each month. We'll notify you as you approach your limit so there are no surprises.
Fuzzy matching identifies potential matches even when names aren't spelled exactly the same. It catches transliterations (e.g., "Mohammed" vs "Muhammad"), typos, reversed name order, and other variations. This is critical because sanctioned persons often have multiple name spellings across different documents and languages.
